The man behind the experience
Gianluca
Gianluca — Texan by adoption, born in Empoli — is a former paratrooper of Italy's Folgore Brigade. He has lived in the United States for over 15 years and is a U.S. citizen. He is the founder of AmericanFreedom1787, the company behind West Texas Experience. He also works, with a decade of experience, at a leading technology corporation as a strategic solutions advisor in the defense sector for the Department of War and for the intelligence agencies of the United States of America. An NRA-certified instructor for the State of Texas, he has decades of experience in firearms training, for both specialized personnel (police officers and former military) and private citizens of all ages, with a significant number of women among them.

Our experiences are built on respect for the United States of America, for Texas, and for the values of freedom and responsibility they stand for. They are not open to everyone.
We will not admit:
- anyone with a criminal record, conviction, or pending proceedings for crimes of violence or of a political nature, as determined by the courts of their respective countries;
- anyone who belongs to, or declares sympathy for, extremist political parties and movements (Antifa, Pro-Pal, BLM and the like);
- anyone who declares hostility toward the United States of America or Texas, or who has spread hostile messages or images against their institutions.
